Welcome from the Scientific Committee
Construction has a major role to play in mitigating the effects of and, wherever possible, reducing Climate Change. The Scientific Committee is seeking contributions to the programme designed to provide attendees with wide ranging, informative, relevant and useful understanding, information, thoughts and questions to assist their own efforts to act more responsibly. What can you offer?
Special Sessions
If you have a suggestion for a particular topic that could form the basis for a Special Session at the Symposium, please submit a short synopsis including the names of potential contributors to the Secretary of the Scientific Committee, Jeanette Abela jmabela@bureau105.studio by 30th April 2023. A Special Session may comprise 5 or 6 short presentations on a common topic within the scope of the overall Symposium Theme, a round table discussion with perhaps 3 or 4 presenters and a convenor or moderator to lead the discussion, or a hands-on workshop led by someone able to motivate delegates to roll up their sleeves and do some work! The idea should be to maximise the involvement of the delegates attending the session to make it distinctly different from the conventional lecture format.
