WELCOME!We warmly welcome you to join us in Guwahati, the largest city in the Indian state of Assam and the vibrant metropolis of northeastern India, for the IABSE Symposium Guwahati 2027. The Indian National Group of IABSE takes immense pleasure in inviting the international structural engineering community to join us at the IABSE Symposium 2027 in Guwahati, Assam (India). The theme of the Symposium, “Structural Failures – Causes, Investigation, Resilience, Mitigation & Standardisation,” serves as a clarion call for all engineers to come together, young and curious as well as ambitious and experienced. The aim of the symposium is to provide a unique platform for sharing knowledge and research on structural failures, promoting the development of more reliable and resilient structures, as well as sharing knowledge on techniques for strengthening, repairs and renovation of failed structures. There will be opportunities to learn from the experience of others on failures. |
