Mission Statement/Objectives It is a special Task Group to develop of a response team which will act promptly after catastrophic earthquakes aiming to:
Assist and educate local engineers for the required post-earthquake inspection and recovery actions condition for damaged RC and masonry structures aiming to mitigate the consequences of subsequent events, and
Collect important information which after processing can lead to the development of guidelines for earthquake resilient structures.
Scope & Limitation This TG is focused on the development of an emergency response team which will act promptly after catastrophic earthquakes to support the local teams of engineering with the post-earthquake inspection of structures. The main scope of this task group is to support local engineers with the rapid inspection of damaged structures and to collect and evaluate data which can lead to education material for the development of guidelines for earthquake resistant structures.

Development of an Emergency Workforce Engineering Group
Development of a database with information and photos of damaged RC and Masonry structures
Development of educational material, protocols and guidelines for good practice
