The YEP Board was elected during the Executive Committee
Meeting in Lisbon on September 12, 2005. To improve participation of young members and enable efficient work, the following concept was elaborated:

- Commission elected for one period only
- Only one re-election possible
- Election period is two years only
- Election and re-election possible if the candidate is of an age of 35 years or younger
- If age limit is exceeded during membership period, the respective period may be finished as usual.
