IABSE offers a facility for members in most countries (see exceptions below) to pay the membership fee with a credit card via internet.

IABSE uses 'Paypal' to accept credit card payments via internet. Normally there is no need to be a member of 'Paypal' to make your payment. There are a few countries where payment is only possible for members of 'Paypal', or where payment by credit card is not possible at all. Please check the amount due on the table below and follow instructions provided on the 'Paypal' site for credit card payments.

It helps if you mention your membership number, or clearly state the name of the member you are paying for.

According to IABSE By-Laws Art. 4.4. an individual member having residence in a country with an annual gross domestic product per capita below USD 2’000 may request a reduction of his annual membership fee. The same applies to a collective member having its seat in such a country.
