A Scientific Committee is established for each IABSE Conference and elected by the Technical Committee.
Mission
A conference Scientific Committee is responsible for: the selection of sub-themes, the type of publications, the choice of types of session, selection of speakers and papers accepted for presentation and publication and the management of the sessions.
A Scientific Committee is dissolved upon completion of its tasks, which includes the submission of a follow-up report by the Chair of the Scientific Committee.
