The IABSE Foundation supports individuals, groups, institutions and organisations with technical or scientific interest in honouring our objectives within structural engineering.

This includes bridges, buildings, and all types of civil engineering structures, composed of any structural material.

Amount
The annual volume of grants is about CHF 50,000. The size of the individual grant portions is not fixed.

What do you need to write?
To apply for support please use the Application Form (pdf, 127 kb) 

Your application must contain information about the following:

• Your professional background
• The purpose and content of the activity you would like the Foundation to sponsor (within the Foundation scope)
• Expected results and their relevance for society
• The newness and the interested parties in the activity
• The total amount you apply for including
  a budget and a schedule
• Information about possible other sources
  of financing and amounts

The deadline for applying for a grant is 30 June every year. Applications will be decided upon at the Annual Foundation Council Meeting.
