Biennial Presentation of the Anton Tedesko Medal
In 1998 the IABSE Foundation created an award in memory of the prestigious structural engineer and teacher Anton Tedesko. The Award has two components. The first is a medal awarded to the Laureate in recognition of his contribution to the advancement of structural engineering. The second component is a sum of 25'000 Swiss Francs to be used by the Fellow in order to organise and finance a study leave for a young engineer with prestigious engineering firms.

The IABSE Foundation supports individuals, groups, institutions and organisations with technical or scientific interest, in honouring its objectives within structural engineering. You can apply for financial support by using the Application Form. (pdf, 127 kb)

Free Subscriptions to SEI and Donations of Books
The IABSE Foundation has offered universities in over thirty economically less favoured countries a free one-year subscription to the IABSE Journal Structural Engineering InternationaI. In each case, the head of the civil or structural engineering department and the head librarian were contacted in order to organise an appropriate way for making the journal available to students and faculty members.
