BASAAR (Briefings About Structural Applications And Research) is a project realised each year during the IABSE Symposium, since 1997. The BASAAR opens up the technical part of IABSE Working Commissions' sessions and makes them more accessible to all Symposium participants. It offers a bazaar-like atmosphere with visitors moving from one stand to another in an informal and spontaneous manner.
