The Yi Sun-sin Bridge, Gwangyan, South Korea, has an outstanding aerodynamic stability, despite its narrow width relative to the span length and the fact that it’s located in the path of typhoons.The bridge has 270-meter high pylons and the wires of 1860 MPa, which means the concrete pylon is the highest and the wire is the strongest of suspension bridges in the world. The bridge was completed very fast in five years. In particular, the legs of the pylon were finished in only four months via a slip-form method.
