IABSE Conference Proceeding Release:

‘The Evolving Metropolis’

IABSE’s 2019 Congress on the topic ‘The Evolving Metropolis’ took place in New York City, US, from 4th-6th September, 2019. This Symposium’s Scientific Committee was chaired by Jonathan McGormley; and the Organizing Committee was chaired by Joseph F. Tortorella, from the US Group of IABSE. This Congress addressed the structural engineering challenges associated with the Evolving Metropolis. The Congress had 391 papers, presented through 245 podium presentations, 40 expert panels, 61 posters, 15 presenters in Tomorrow’s Affordable Housing sessions, and 30 presenters in the 200 Year Bridge sessions. Ninety-five sessions were offered to attendees. These included four Keynote Sessions. The Conference Proceeding is now available for download and sale.
