‘Engineering the Developing World’
The IABSE Conference ‘Engineering the Developing World’ will be held from April 25-27, 2018, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Event will be hosted by the Malaysian Group of IABSE, The Organising Committee is chaired by Paul Mullins, Malaysia and the Scientific Committee by David Collings, UK.
This Conference aims to bring together professional engineers, researchers and public agencies from Southeast Asia as well as from around the world to exchange ideas on engineering issues inherent in developing nations achieving developed status.
The Scientific Programme will include plenary and parallel sessions during three days. Keynote and invited speakers will address the conference generally in the plenary sessions, and thematic parallel sessions will be held for the presentation of papers selected by the Scientific Committee from those submitted.

Authors willing to present a paper in accordance with the Themes and Topics at the conference, are invited to submit an abstract by April 30, 2017, using the template available on the conference website.
